Christine Ely
Christine is the Book’s Publisher and owner of The World of WordPress. She lives and works in Seattle WA.
Christine has developed Marketing and Customer Relationship Management systems for many companies but more recently has been concentrating on assisting new authors in publishing their books. She was highly involved in the concept, writing and publishing of Healthy Tart / Healthy Lifestyle series written by Trisha Stewart and Christin McDowell.
Christine is member of both the CMI (Chartered Management Institute) and the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing), is an accomplished Business Development Manager, Team Builder, Database, CRM and e-Commerce specialist with seasoned experience in bringing information technology and customer sales solutions to corporations and end users alike. She has extensive experience in developing office procedures and systems, and implementing them through structured training programs.
Christine has extensive sales and management expertise with excellent interpersonal skills with an impressive track record of business development and team building in both the UK and USA. Through sales and marketing, consulting and training in Customer / Sales Management systems and accounting solutions to an extensive clientele, she has developed invaluable experience in a wide variety of industries, including government bodies, financial institutions, banks, retail and wholesale outlets, golf clubs, the print industry, the music industry and many more. She has built and developed sales and marketing teams and won significant contracts through individual effort.

- Conceived and facilitated the creation of the Healthy Lifestyle book series.
- Speaker, Trainer and Consultant in WordPress CMS for Websites and Blogs.
- Developed and supported a market for Maximizer (SQL based Customer Relationship Management System) to companies in the UK and USA. Introduced the CRM concept and implemented solutions in difficult environments.
- Developed Internet strategy for international development company and managed software products and web marketing.
- Developed Internet Broadcast Station for International Corporation, recruited staff and managed office. Set up Internet marketing team and corporate website.
- Implemented and configured local area and wide area networks for numerous clients including the UK Ministry of Defense, University of Texas and many American corporations.
- Implemented various training programs in multi user database, accounting and online systems management.
- Sold, configured and installed multi-user database, accounting, inventory and point of sale systems to a wide variety of industries.
- Awarded Major Hardware and Software contracts from British Government, (in excess of $7,000,000), and built team to fulfill contract requirement. Negotiated supply contracts with major business partners and created business systems and methodologies to enable smooth production.
- Managed the implementation and development of windows based contact management system for worldwide consumption. Developed sales and marketing strategy (Internet and telemarketing based), which resulted in over 30,000 units being sold. Traveled to many major US banks and universities promoting multi-user systems resulting in many network sales, consulting contracts and training programs.
