I have recently been working with a friend’s husband – yes a friend of mine of 15 years. You would think they would be interested in their health because they knew me, not so! Her husband would not deal with his weight problems. He ended up by the time he got to his 50th birthday with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and type 11 diabetes, not a combination of disease that anyone would want and STILL he would not deal with it. He simply accepted the medication from the doctor – until a month ago when he was threatened with divorce !!! SERIOUSLY – my friend could not face a future with a husband who would become an invalid.
